AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 to $34 for a “Production Operator, Processing – 2nd shift” role in Columbus, OH, can be considered competitive based on industry standards and the region’s cost of living. According to various job market reports and salary aggregators, the average pay for production operators in Ohio typically ranges from $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, job responsibilities, and the specific industry sector. The upper end of this pay band ($34) may reflect positions requiring specialized skills or additional responsibilities, which is also common for 2nd shift roles due to the differential pay for less desirable hours.
