We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of Compounding and Material Handling Operations at our Marietta, OH facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
– Supervising front-line operations and the maintenance workforce to achieve safety, environmental, quality, and production goals.
– Acting as incident commander during emergency responses on shift.
– Championing daily safety initiatives and environmental performance.
– Ensuring operational compliance with all safe work practices on a day-to-day basis.
– Coordinating production activities to align with scheduling requirements.
– Motivating, coaching, and developing team members to foster a high-performance work environment.
– Possessing thorough knowledge of all equipment and processes in the unit to serve effectively as a troubleshooter and to collaborate with operators and maintenance teams in developing troubleshooting skills.
– Leading and participating in incident investigations.
– Performing front line tasks related to work cell management, including housekeeping inspections and SHE compliance, while sustaining 5S standards.
– Providing on-site supervision during off-shifts and weekends to ensure continuous plant operations.
– Actively participating in troubleshooting and resolving process issues by leveraging familiarity with all PCU/MH equipment and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
– A preferred 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within the chemical manufacturing sector, with a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
– Some college or technical training relevant to plant operations, which is desirable.
– A High School Diploma or equivalent as the minimum educational requirement.
– Proven experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) is required.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to engage team members effectively.
– A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and operational metrics.
– Familiarity with ISO 9001/9100 standards.
