Job description:
The Project Manager & Analytics Specialist IV plays a crucial role in supporting initiatives set forth by the department/division leader within the Building, Safety Engineering, and Environmental Department. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of project development, enabling the specialist to effectively oversee projects from inception to completion. The candidate will contribute to the development and execution of divisional goals and initiatives, leveraging their expertise in data analysis and advanced levels of data analytics.
Key responsibilities include driving change and process improvements for the customer base, managing a diverse range of projects focused on data collection, production, and dissemination related to strategy, planning, and organizational effectiveness. This role reports directly to the department/division leader.
Duties encompass the following:
- Conducting data analysis across various database sources and formats for research, systems, and reporting design.
- Guiding stakeholders in interpreting generated reports, optimizing their functionality, and enhancing operational interfaces.
- Supporting the implementation of organizational goals, initiatives, and plans.
- Developing and executing initiatives aimed at improving work processes and efficiencies.
- Promoting fact-based decision-making throughout the organization.
- Spearheading process improvement initiatives, including automation, to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency.
- Investigating and analyzing complex departmental reorganizations.
- Managing project development phases from beginning to end.
- Delivering concise and impactful presentations of analytical results to facilitate adoption.
- Creating summarization reports and operational interfaces that communicate research findings to stakeholders.
- Offering recommendations for enhancing business outcomes, operational efficiencies, and system user experiences based on thorough analysis.
- Providing supporting information to validate research findings.
The role also entails ensuring adherence to data management best practices, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing advanced data management activities, including acquisitions and reorganizations. The Project Manager & Analytics Specialist will track project milestones and status, communicating updates to project sponsors and collaborating with leadership to manage change control effectively across the Department.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, project management, business, management, organizational development, or a related field, along with four to five years of experience in project management or data analytics at an advanced level of responsibility.
