Position Overview
Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Protocol Support Specialist to assist the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with NSIC senior leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of high-visibility events. Proficiency in standard office software applications and the ability to develop practical and sustainable solutions are essential.
Responsibilities
– Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute high-visibility events.
– Receive and process requests, staff them for approval, and prepare meeting agendas.
– Reserve venues for events, including accommodations and parking as necessary.
– Solicit and manage briefers and presentations.
– Serve as a liaison with the NASIC and 88th Air Base Wing protocol offices.
– Represent NSIC at cross-organizational planning events.
– Schedule and facilitate a weekly NSIC distinguished visitor planning meeting, tracking the status of all planned visits and related tasks.
– Adapt to diverse operational tempos.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
– Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication.
– Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience in event planning, coordination, and execution.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
– Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player capable of working independently with minimal daily direction.
– Ability to interact effectively with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
– Additional duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
– Familiarity with the United States Space Force (USSF) and the Intelligence Community’s organizations, missions, roles, and responsibilities.
