Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is seeking dedicated Care Staff to join our team. Our facility has been thoughtfully designed with the safety and well-being of our residents in mind, providing both assisted living and memory care services. As a member of our care staff and medication technician team, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily care needs while also supporting them in managing their medication. Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administer medications as a primary duty while providing hands-on care to each resident.
  • Maintain a clean living environment, including performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Administer medications and injections according to medical charts.
  • Follow the scheduled routine and assist residents with repositioning as needed.
  • Document medication administration accurately and follow established procedures.
  • Exercise good judgment to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill care duties.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and charting in a timely manner.
  • Respond to call lights, assessing residents’ needs promptly.
  • Assist with meal tray distribution and support residents during meals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
  • Availability for every other weekend.
