Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Public Affairs Senior Analyst. The anticipated annual salary for this position ranges from $83,250 to $122,100. Please note that this salary range serves as a general guideline and actual salaries will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, as well as prevailing market and business considerations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and lead public affairs initiatives, overseeing communications, operations, and the administration of the public affairs function. Additionally, you will manage the administration of the Eaton Public Policy Association (EPPA) Political Action Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage functional accounts payable and invoicing processes, including invoice uploads and payment processing for all vendors through Markview. Oversee the approval process for new vendors, tracking invoices, coordinating with shared business functions, and payment centers.
- Contribute to public affairs communications by collecting, editing, and formatting content for newsletters and other communications, as well as managing distribution lists and dissemination.
- Serve as the EPPA PAC Secretary, leading Federal Election Commission (FEC) reporting and filing to ensure compliance with federal campaign regulations. Support meeting logistics, including minute-taking and scheduling, and create and distribute communications for PAC membership.
- Manage the public affairs grassroots program, including scheduling outreach to plant managers and HR leaders, overseeing photo consent form management, and implementing pre-meeting checklists. Additionally, manage Eaton’s state advocacy councils.
- Develop content for internal and external communications to support the public affairs function.
- Draft social media content and thought leadership communications for public affairs, and manage updates to the Public Affairs website.
- Assist with message and communication development for external advocacy efforts.
- Coordinate with Eaton’s functional teams—such as communications, marketing, sales, and product management—on external events and communication strategies.
- Organize and manage the function’s schedule and calendar, ensuring all meetings are coordinated and supported with necessary materials.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees in collaboration with the Eaton Facilities team.
- Plan and execute function events and special recognition initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in corporate or trade association project management, communication support, or similar roles in government.
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH, and relocation is not provided for this position.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in copy editing, writing, and familiarity with relevant software applications.
