At Great Wolf, the Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining an inviting atmosphere within the Lodge, ensuring that cleanliness standards consistently align with both Great Wolf and guest expectations. The Attendant is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of the resort’s common areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum, dust, and clean public areas, including but not limited to floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark areas, elevators, windows, and doors.
  • Ensure elevator areas are clean and free of debris.
  • Empty waste receptacles in common areas.
  • Read and understand material safety data sheets for all chemicals, utilizing them according to instructions.
  • Report maintenance issues observed in public areas.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with guests.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as requested and return them to storage as necessary.
  • Assist with guestroom cleaning as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

  • Prior experience handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning roles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
