As a Medication Aide, you will engage in fulfilling and impactful work, performing the essential duties expected of a QMA in any setting. What we seek in a candidate:
When you join our team, you will be responsible for:
– Advancing your career through our Apprenticeship Program
– Preparing, administering, and documenting all medications utilized within your health campus
– Maintaining comprehensive resident records pertaining to medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
– Ensuring that all medications brought into the health campus by new residents are properly reviewed and verified by the attending physician or facility pharmacy
– Contributing to a compassionate and nurturing environment where residents feel valued and safe
– Adhering to campus policies and procedures regarding the proper disposal of medications
Qualifications we desire:
– Current certification for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
– Prior experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting is preferred
– High School Diploma or equivalent
