Vector’s partner in Cleveland, OH provides a comprehensive range of stainless steel pipes, tubing, fittings, outlets, thread tape, flanges, and valves, along with the nation’s largest inventory of both leaded and lead-free cast brass fittings, flanges, and pipes. They are currently seeking a Receiving and Restocking Specialist to join their team.

1st Shift (7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
$16.50/hour

Objectives

  • Support the department by executing receiving activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist team members in maintaining efficiency across various warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound products according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Facilitate the internal movement of both manufactured and purchased products.
  • Accurately enter data related to all product movement using RF scanning and computer equipment.
  • Stock primary and overstock locations with purchased and manufactured products.
  • Strive to meet company production metrics, including minimizing errors, ensuring on-time delivery, achieving accuracy, and enhancing customer service.
  • Process transfer and shipping orders.
  • Support activities that promote inventory accuracy, timely product delivery, and satisfaction for internal and external customers.
  • Exhibit a willingness and ability to work overtime as requested by managers or supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and RF scanning technology.
  • Strong general mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to measure to the nearest 1/16”.
  • Current certification or willingness to obtain certification for operating various powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as reach trucks, counterbalance trucks, and order pickers.
  • Capability to work at heights of up to 20 feet using ladders or PIT.
  • Physical ability to stand, reach, bend, push, and pull bulky materials throughout the entire shift, and frequently lift 50-80 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
  • Must adhere to all safety procedures and processes while operating Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE), including but not limited to pallet jacks, stand-up/sit-down tow motors, cherry pickers, WAVE machines, and cranes.
