We are in search of a highly organized and personable Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our repair shop. The Receptionist will oversee front-desk operations, assist with administrative tasks, and facilitate customer interactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, possess a friendly demeanor, and exhibit the ability to multitask effectively. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the daily calendar for service technicians.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
- Ensure that the reception area and customer waiting room are clean and organized.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records in the system.
- Provide customers with basic information regarding services and pricing.
- Collaborate with the service team to facilitate smooth communication and scheduling.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with familiarity in using office equipment (phones, printers, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
