In this role, you will:

– Verify customers’ legal age requirements, register new customers in the POS system, and efficiently scan returning customers.
– Actively promote the brand to inspire excitement and enthusiasm among shoppers at our location.
– Welcome guests and customers into the store with a courteous, positive, and friendly demeanor.
– Utilize appropriate greetings and salutations for all customers at all times.
– Assist with curbside and online orders as needed.
– Answer calls with professional phone etiquette and assist with inquiries.
– Provide customers with accurate information regarding products, store hours and location, daily specials, our website, and more.
– Highlight current campaigns, promotions, and events.
– Arrive on schedule for each shift, presenting a polished and professional appearance.
– Monitor customer queues consistently and communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
– Create personable and memorable experiences for all store visitors.
– Maintain compliance with CRA regulations at all times.
– Perform opening, mid-day, and closing procedures, alongside general upkeep of the reception area.
– Support store management in an administrative capacity as required.
– Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and compliance protocols at all times.
– Ensure all online and paper menus are current with daily offerings.

Skills and experience you possess include:

– A minimum of one year of customer service experience in a retail, sales, or hospitality environment.
– At least one year of prior administrative and/or Front Desk Receptionist experience.
– Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and follow-up proficiency.
– Excellent customer service and communication skills.
– Proficiency in operating a computer, POS system, and other office equipment.
– Experience in maintaining frequent contact with customers and staff.
– Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
