Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a skilled receptionist for our client based in Kentwood, Michigan. The key responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below:

Job Summary
As the initial point of contact for clients, you will warmly greet visitors, manage incoming telephone calls and fax communications, and effectively direct calls as needed. You will also provide clerical support and secretarial assistance while collaborating on various delegated projects. Delivering exceptional customer service to all clients is a fundamental aspect of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome individuals as they enter the agency, respond to telephone inquiries, answer general information questions, screen visitors, and relay messages as necessary.
  • Compose memos, correspondence, agendas, and reports as required.
  • Assist with accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Schedule appointments and notify staff members of upcoming meetings.
  • Maintain the clinic’s filing system.
  • Open and distribute mail to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Aid in the filing of correspondence.
  • Perform photocopying tasks as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
