Key Responsibilities:

– Educate residents, their families, nursing staff, food service personnel, and other community members regarding special dietary needs and resident dining preferences.
– Accurately document resident assessments, including nutritional goals and interventions, in the medical record.
– Review and approve daily menus, snacks, and supplement programs for residents.
– Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to monitor and address residents’ nutritional status.
