Job description:
The Rental Attendant will be primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service related to winter activities within the Ski Department. Daily responsibilities will include engaging with customers face-to-face, as well as through email and phone communications. The role involves issuing season pass products, facilitating special program sales, and managing inquiries while ensuring accurate cash handling and drawer balancing. Additionally, support may be provided to the Cashier’s Office with lift ticket and rental sales, along with ticket redemption duties. This seasonal position commences in early November and concludes in late March, with the possibility of transitioning to a year-round full-time role based on performance and departmental requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests and members professionally and courteously.
- Consult with guests/members to provide outstanding customer service and effectively address their needs.
- Manage in-person and telephone interactions adhering to established protocols.
- Process and issue Season Passes, Buddy Tickets, and other ski-related products in accordance with company policies.
- Address inquiries and sales related to special programs.
- Respond to all communications promptly and accurately.
- Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and financial transactions are processed with 100% accuracy.
- Handle lift ticket and rental sales, as well as ticket redemptions.
- Accept additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Must demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Maintain high energy levels and enthusiasm at work.
- Availability for irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to navigate stairs and ladders is required.
