Primary Responsibilities:
The Territory Sales Representative plays a vital role in managing day-to-day relationships with stores within an assigned territory. Success in this position will be measured by the representative’s ability to drive sales growth, enhance product distribution through KeHE programs and promotions, and foster strong relationships with all store management and personnel.
Essential Functions:
– Present, sell, and implement promotional activities to maximize sales and increase points of distribution while educating customers on the benefits of transitioning sales to KeHE.
– Identify sales opportunities, such as item voids, missing shelf tags, and out-of-stocks at the store level, partnering with store personnel to ensure accurate inventory and ordering systems.
– Promote and sell the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, striving to exceed sales targets.
– Execute presentations for new sales products and develop item plans for these introductions.
– Assess customer needs and develop strategic plans to enhance sales and diversify the customer product portfolio.
– Assist in the planning and execution of display programs at both the store level and corporate headquarters to drive additional sales.
– Drive sales by merchandising and stocking KeHE products in an orderly fashion that meets both customer and company expectations, scheduling and training stockers as needed.
– Collaborate with store personnel on all sales events, ensuring proper execution of product demonstrations and logistics.
– Work cross-functionally with operations and transportation to facilitate smooth sales deliveries.
– Provide exceptional service to accounts in the assigned territory, fulfilling specific store needs through orders, maintenance of displays, managing credits, and processing returns where applicable.
– Manage inventory levels effectively to minimize out-of-stock situations.
– Inform appropriate internal contacts of new business leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity to adapt to market shifts and customer demands.
– Exhibit fiscal responsibility and accountability for all business conducted within the assigned territory.
– Conduct reviews of new store setups and resets, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all tasks.
– Complete all required store-level surveys and provide ongoing product education to both consumers and store staff to support new product launches and other initiatives.
– Fulfill additional assignments as designated by management.
– Attend industry shows, meetings, and events as necessary.
– Other duties as assigned.
