The Territory Sales Representative plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the relationships with stores in an assigned territory. Success in this position is driven by the representative’s ability to increase sales, expand points of distribution, and nurture strong relationships with store management and personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Present, sell, and implement all promotional activities to maximize sales and distribution while educating customers on the advantages of partnering with KeHE.
  • Identify sales opportunities, such as item voids, missing shelf tags, and stock issues, and collaborate with store personnel to ensure product placement and inventory integrity.
  • Promote and sell KeHE’s products and services within a designated geographic area to surpass sales targets.
  • Drive new product presentations and manage item development plans for new products.
  • Assess customer needs and devise strategies to enhance sales and broaden product offerings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of display programs at both the store and corporate levels to drive additional sales.
  • Maintain KeHE products in an organized manner that meets customer and company standards, and where applicable, train and direct stockers.
  • Collaborate with store personnel on sales events, encompassing product demonstrations, quantity requirements, and execution details.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and transportation to ensure effective sales deliveries.
  • Provide high-quality service to accounts within the territory, which may include order writing, maintaining shelf presentation, managing credits, and processing returns.
  • Proactively manage inventory levels to minimize stock shortages.
  • Refer new business development leads, customer feedback, and competitor insights to appropriate organizational contacts to respond to market conditions and customer demands.
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and accountability for all activities within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor new store setups and remodels, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Complete store-level surveys as required by customers, manufacturers, and corporate offices.
  • Offer ongoing product education to consumers and store personnel to support new introductions and trends.
  • Fulfill special assignments as requested by either customers or supervisors.
  • Attend industry shows, meetings, and events as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
