Job description:
The primary responsibility of a Boyne Reservations Sales Agent is to engage in friendly and outgoing interactions with a diverse range of callers. Personal interactions are expected to be cheerful and uplifting, necessitating a warm, helpful, and friendly demeanor. This fast-paced environment is both enjoyable and detail-oriented. Given the nature of the hospitality industry, our services operate seven days a week; however, we offer flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Receiving travel requests for new reservations via telephone or email.
– Promptly following up with guest inquiry leads for secondary bookings.
– Demonstrating strong multitasking capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
– Ensuring a high quality of service for every caller by employing appropriate language and phone etiquette.
– Accurately providing rate quotes and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all promotions and discounts.
– Posting deposits from guests.
– Keeping up-to-date potential and current guest profile information.
– Utilizing computerized reservation systems to book hotel accommodations and issue confirmations.
– Offering concierge services with an extensive understanding of the property and the surrounding area, including restaurants, entertainment options, special events, and general directions.

To excel in this role, candidates should have a solid understanding of database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software. Familiarity with SpringerMiller, Marriott software, and/or Salesforce is preferred but not essential.
