Job description:

We are excited to invite candidates to join our esteemed overnight reset and remodel team at SPAR, a leader in retail construction. We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Lead to oversee a dedicated team of three or more individuals, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met during our overnight shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 8 PM to 6 AM. As the senior supervisor on-site, you will travel to various home improvement retail chains, managing projects ranging from small merchandising tasks to the installation of shelving, fixtures, and comprehensive remodels. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, excel in fast-paced environments, and maintain exceptional standards of workmanship, ensuring every remodel exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead an on-site team of 3 to 10 individuals
  • Execute overnight remodels for big box retail stores
  • Conduct merchandising resets
  • Remove and replace damaged steel racking
  • Relocate products to updated pallet racking
  • Assemble shelving fixtures within retail environments
  • Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
  • Engage in significant physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours and work overnight hours from 8 PM to 6 AM
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Experience in retail operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of big box home improvement reporting programs
  • Proficient in operating equipment such as scissor lifts, order pickers, and reach trucks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 20 feet) and climbing ladders
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Proficient in using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
  • Prior construction experience
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred
