Job Responsibilities:
As a Hotel Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing all daily room and market work on a nightly basis, ensuring timely and efficient posting and balancing of charges and settlements. You will also maintain files and reset the systems in preparation for the following day’s operations.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

  • Preparing daily revenue report data
  • Running audit reports and journals from the mainframe and the system for automated credit cards
  • Making corrections and adjustments while addressing any computer issues that may arise during your shift
  • Entering data related to revenue, expenses, and allowances to generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
  • Checking all figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Controlling and securing cash and cash equivalents in accordance with cash handling policies and procedures
  • Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files and records following document retention and confidentiality policies
  • Compiling, maintaining, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
  • Auditing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
  • Auditing and reconciling all revenue postings

Job Requirements:
