Job Description
Job Title: Resident Aide/Med Tech
Company: Homestead
Location: Westland, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for a Resident Aide/Med Tech in Westland, MI, is somewhat below the average pay for similar positions in the area. Typically, such roles, which often require both personal care and medication management responsibilities, may command rates ranging from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience, certification, and specific job duties. Given the cost of living in Michigan and the increasing demand for healthcare support roles, $15 may not be competitive, which could make attracting and retaining qualified staff challenging for employers. It may be advisable for employers to consider increasing wages to align better with Local and national standards to improve recruitment and retention efforts.
