Your responsibilities will include:
– Providing compassionate companionship to residents and assisting with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
– Administering medications and injections to residents according to physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
– Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
– Ensuring strict compliance with safety and health standards, including meticulous infection control procedures.
– Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any variations to the supervisor.
– Following schedules and assisting residents with repositioning as needed.
– Accurately documenting medications in accordance with established procedures.
– Exercising sound judgment in delivering client care and ensuring their safety.
– Collaborating with team members to assist in their responsibilities as necessary.
– Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs promptly.
– Obtaining meal trays and providing assistance with eating.
– Carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
