Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate companionship to residents and assist with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administer medications and injections in accordance with physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety and health standards, including meticulous infection control practices.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate any observations to the supervising staff.
  • Follow scheduled routines and assist residents with repositioning as needed.
  • Accurately document medication administration procedures.
  • Exercise sound judgment in delivering client care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Assist fellow team members with their responsibilities as required.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and assess residents’ needs.
  • Retrieve meal trays and assist residents with eating.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience in medication administration and working with senior populations.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory.
