At Homestead, we oversee a lively senior living community in Westland and are seeking dedicated Caregivers and experienced Medication Technicians who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate companionship to residents and assisting them with daily activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administering medications and injections to residents as per physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
• Maintaining a clean living environment, which may include light housekeeping duties.
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety and health standards, particularly regarding infection control procedures.
• Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any observations to supervisors.
• Following schedules and assisting residents with repositioning as needed.
• Documenting medication administration accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Exercising good judgment in providing care and ensuring residents’ safety.
• Assisting team members with their duties as required.
• Responding promptly to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
• Assisting residents with meals as needed, including retrieving meal trays.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:
