Key Responsibilities:

• Offer compassionate companionship and assistance to residents with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Administer medications and injections to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
• Maintain a clean living environment, which may include light housekeeping tasks.
• Uphold strict safety and health standards, including detailed adherence to infection control protocols.
• Monitor residents for changes in their conditions and promptly communicate any observations to the supervisor.
• Follow scheduled routines and assist residents with repositioning as needed.
• Adhere to protocols for accurate documentation of medications.
• Exercise sound judgment in providing resident care and ensuring their safety.
• Assist fellow team members with their responsibilities as necessary.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assess residents’ needs.
• Obtain meal trays and provide assistance with eating as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
