Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate companionship to residents while assisting with daily activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents according to physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with safety and health standards, including rigorous infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any developments to the supervisor.
  • Assisting residents with repositioning according to schedule.
  • Documenting medication administration accurately according to established procedures.
  • Exercising sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring the safety of all residents.
  • Supporting team members with their duties as necessary.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs in a timely manner.
  • Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements we ask of you:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience in medication administration and a background working with seniors is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
