Job Description
Job Title: Resident Aide/Med Tech
Company: Homestead
Location: Wayne, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a “Resident Aide/Med Tech” in Wayne, MI, is somewhat below the industry standard. In this role, which typically involves assisting residents in long-term care facilities and administering medications, wages can range from approximately $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and specific employer practices. While the $15 rate may be competitive for entry-level positions, it is generally considered on the lower end for seasoned professionals in the field, especially given the increased demand for healthcare workers and the rising cost of living in many parts of Michigan. Thus, while it may appeal to some candidates, it could deter those with more experience or those seeking a wage that better reflects their skills and responsibilities.
