Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate companionship to residents and assist with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administer medications and injections to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders as recorded in medical charts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to strict safety and health standards, including rigorous infection control procedures.
• Observe and monitor changes in residents’ conditions, promptly communicating any updates to the supervisor.
• Follow a schedule to assist residents with repositioning.
• Accurately document medication administration in compliance with established procedures.
• Exercise sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring resident safety.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all duties are completed effectively.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
• Assist residents with meals, including obtaining meal trays and providing support during eating.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.

• Availability to work every other weekend is required.
