Job Title: Resident Aide/Med Tech

Company: Homestead

Location: Wayne, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of my last knowledge update, an hourly rate of $15 for a Resident Aide/Med Tech position in Wayne, MI, is generally considered below the competitive pay range for similar roles in that region. Typically, caregiver and med tech wages vary widely based on factors like experience, certification, and facility type, with many positions in Michigan offering rates between $16 to $20 per hour or more, particularly in urban areas. Additionally, the rising demand for healthcare workers, particularly in assisted living and long-term care facilities, suggests that offering higher wages can aid in attracting and retaining qualified staff. Thus, while $15 is better than minimum wage, it may not adequately align with current industry standards or the increased cost of living and competitiveness in the healthcare job market.
