Job Description
Job Title: Resident Aide/MedTech
Company: Homestead
Location: Pontiac, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a Resident Aide/MedTech in Pontiac, MI, is generally considered below the competitive range for this position. According to industry standards, particularly in the healthcare and assisted living sectors, wages for similar roles typically range from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on factors like experience, certification, and specific job responsibilities. While regional cost of living can influence pay rates, the $16 per hour offered may not reflect the demand for qualified healthcare workers, especially given Michigan’s increasing focus on supporting healthcare professionals amid growing patient needs. Therefore, this rate may present challenges in attracting and retaining skilled employees in the area.
