Position Summary

• Housekeeping: Responsible for performing cleaning duties, including dusting, damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining patient room and common area cleanliness. Duties also include the removal and disposal of trash and any other assigned tasks.
• Safety: Ensure the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols for cleaning solution use. Report equipment or product needs to supervisors timely and adhere to established safety and quality standards. Comply with infection control and universal precautions.
• Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance, arrive on time, complete assigned cleaning areas according to schedule, and respond promptly to pages.
• Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through respectful and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
• Resident Experience: Interact in a positive, pleasant, and tactful manner with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, effectively performing routine tasks daily.
• Upon completion of all necessary training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring safety.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must consistently attend work as scheduled and on time.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as required by state, local, and/or customer regulations.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and work with food and cleaning products.
• Residence within the service area is a requirement.
