Position Summary

  • Housekeeping Responsibilities: Execute cleaning tasks including dusting, damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining cleanliness in patient and resident areas as assigned. Conduct waste removal and other related duties.
  • Safety Protocols: Use protective gear appropriately, ensure the safe mixing and application of cleaning solutions, report equipment needs or malfunctions promptly, and adhere to established safety and quality standards. Follow infection control policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, ensuring timely completion of assigned duties.
  • Customer Interaction: Represent HCSG positively by communicating courteously and cooperatively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
  • Resident Interaction: Engage with residents, staff, and facility visitors in a positive, respectful manner.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude, with the ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks consistently.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and complete responsibilities independently following training.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Reliability in attendance and adherence to scheduled work times is essential.

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

  • Must reside within the service area.
