Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Execute housekeeping and cleaning tasks, including dusting and damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning patient room and dining room furniture, and managing waste disposal.
- Safety: Utilize protective gear, mix and use cleaning solutions safely, report equipment needs promptly, and comply with infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, complete cleaning assignments on schedule, and respond promptly to paging systems.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions and collaboration with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions and to perform routine, repetitive tasks effectively.
- Upon completion of training, utilize leadership skills to perform responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must adhere to scheduled shifts and arrive on time.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by state, local, and customer protocols is required.
- Must be capable of lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing/pulling 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously in a working environment involving food and cleaning products is necessary.
- Residence within the service area is required.
