Pay: $18.50 per hour

In the role of Retail and Attractions Supervisor at Great Wolf, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences for families through the management of daily retail and attractions operations. This leadership position is essential for fulfilling business objectives, supporting the team in retail and attractions, and engaging with both guests and pack members to elevate their experience while maximizing profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of retail and attractions, including gift shops, arcades, and vending, ensuring compliance with lodge safety and service standards while completing assigned tasks effectively.
  • Provide regular coaching, encouragement, and recognition to pack members to foster a motivated workforce.
  • Advocate for and implement Great Wolf policies and procedures, collaborating with departmental and lodge leadership in managing performance within the department.
  • Address inquiries or concerns from guests, escalating relevant feedback to leadership as needed.
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of guest requests and concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Participate in staff scheduling, labor management, and forecasting to optimize operations.
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with pack members in retail and attractions to prioritize tasks and gather feedback.
  • Monitor the performance of attendants while providing real-time feedback and coaching to improve service quality.
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked retail outlets and attractions, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of talent for retail and attractions roles.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement action plans aimed at enhancing guest service and pack member engagement, as measured through NPS and eNPS.
  • Engage in performance management activities, including employee reviews, corrective actions, investigations, and conflict resolution, in partnership with Retail and Attractions leadership.
  • Uphold operational quality by ensuring service excellence, adequate inventory levels, and maintaining equipment through troubleshooting or repair requests.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of safety programs that comply with regulations, including Ergonomics, Emergency Responses, Injury and Illness Prevention, and Hazard Communications.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures related to the position.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of one year of prior experience in retail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong command of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven customer service, conflict resolution, employee engagement, retention, and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
