As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague, also referred to as a Beauty Advisor, your primary focus will be to cater to the beauty needs of our customers to drive sales. As both a product educator and beauty enthusiast, you will specialize in empowering our customers to feel beautiful and confident. Your responsibilities will include building a robust client base and nurturing strong relationships to meet sales goals. You will embrace innovation by applying new sales techniques and will be comfortable engaging with customers virtually and over the phone. Additionally, you will conduct consultations, including applying makeup and other products to clients.

Your Responsibilities:
– Greet customers warmly and assist them with their beauty needs
– Utilize your product knowledge to provide expert advice tailored to each customer’s preferences
– Cultivate customer relationships by introducing them to beauty products and identifying their unique needs
– Demonstrate the application of all beauty products and educate customers on their use
– Maintain inventory display, organization, storage, and replenishment
– Leverage our clientele program to connect with customers, achieve sales targets, communicate promotions and product launches, and enroll customers in our rewards program
– Participate in pre-selling and sales-boosting events to enhance sales performance and meet personal targets
– Stay updated with training provided by Macy’s, including vendor training and virtual education sessions as required
– Merchandise new arrivals, manage damage reports, and prepare items for vendor returns
– Employ point-of-sale technology and applications to facilitate selling and fulfill customer orders
– Adhere to hygiene and asset protection protocols
Required Skills:

– Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with customers in person, virtually, and via phone
