We are seeking a dedicated individual who will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, while ensuring that team members process efficiently and collaboratively. You will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by actively engaging with customers and upholding a clean and organized store environment, while exemplifying outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity while maintaining confidentiality.
- Oversee truck deliveries, prioritizing the efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
- Train and mentor associates on established merchandising and processing standards.
- Ensure merchandise is appropriately tagged, secured, and displayed.
- Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain a smooth flow of goods to the sales area.
- Manage associates’ completion of tasks and activities according to the store plan, adjusting priorities as necessary.
- Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
- Organize and rotate back stock to facilitate easy restocking.
- Maintain adherence to merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Uphold organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable.
- Communicate effectively with management and associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs for associates to enhance performance.
- Uphold compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Support store initiatives aimed at reducing shrinkage and maintaining safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For:

- A minimum of 1 year in retail, complemented by at least 6 months of leadership experience.
