In this role, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring that associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working collaboratively as a team. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store, while serving as a model of exceptional customer service.

  • Cultivate a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
  • Promote a culture rooted in honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Oversee truck deliveries, prioritizing the efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate the smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Ensure that associates complete tasks in alignment with the store plan, prioritizing effectively as needed.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as required.
  • Organize and rotate back stock to facilitate easy replenishment.
  • Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom area.
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste programs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with management and associates regarding priorities; provide progress updates as necessary.
  • Provide and embrace recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with management to identify associate training needs to enhance effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Advocate for credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support and engage in initiatives aimed at reducing store shrink.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position offers a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
