Shannon Owens – Regional Manager:
Shannon has been with KGS since 2012, starting as a temporary employee before advancing to Regional Manager after two years as a Field Manager. With a background in retail operations, she has held positions as General Manager and Buyer at a clothing store. In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, decorating her home, and caring for her two dogs.

Troy Haas – Merchandising Manager:
Troy joined KGS in 2023 as the Merchandising Manager for West Michigan. With 25 years of experience as a District Manager at Walgreens, he possesses strong leadership and merchandising expertise. Troy is passionate about his ministry work, community service, fishing, traveling, and creating lasting memories with his family.

Becky Glass – Merchandising Manager:
Becky became part of KGS in 2019 as a Merchandising Manager, overseeing Meijer and Walmart stores in West Michigan. Previously, she worked as a Crew Leader for a landscaping company and served as a Visual Manager and Designer at a garden center. Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring design, and gardening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and arrange visually appealing plant displays to attract customers and promote sales.
  • Ensure that products are stocked, organized, and accessible.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with store management regarding restocking needs.
  • Assist with plant care, including watering and general upkeep.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of display and plant health.

Position Requirements:

  • City of Residence: Candidates must reside in close proximity to our local client retail service locations, which will be confirmed during the pre-interview process.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary for commuting to work.
  • Flexible Schedule: A commitment of at least two days per week for four-hour shifts is required, with potential for additional shifts upon request.
  • Physical Fitness: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, and remain active throughout their shift.

Qualifications:

  • Prior merchandising or retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and reliability.
  • A customer service-oriented attitude is essential.
