AutoZone’s Part-Time Retail Sales Associates play a critical role in driving sales through exceptional customer service that consistently exceeds expectations. This position focuses on delivering a WOW! Position Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional WOW! Customer Service to every customer.
– Accomplish assigned store tasks in a timely manner throughout shifts.
– Operate cash registers accurately and adhere to established cash handling protocols.
– Comply with company policies and loss prevention procedures.
– Maintain a safe work environment by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
– Uphold store appearance and merchandising standards as directed.
– Ensure merchandise is restocked and organized in designated areas.
– Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding suitable alternatives.
– Stay informed about product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources.
– Practice GOTTChA and assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
– Employ OBDII technology to read diagnostic codes from customers’ vehicles.
– Diagnose automobile issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
– Communicate effectively with managers regarding customer and employee concerns.
– Engage actively in the development of enhanced customer service skills.
– Offer honest and reliable advice to customers on the best products to meet their needs.

Position Requirements:
– Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
– Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
– Strong communication and decision-making skills.
– Capability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
– Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, to meet business needs.
