Your Role:
As a Retail Store Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in fostering exceptional teamwork, displaying a deep sense of curiosity, and demonstrating utmost care in order to uphold Blick’s commitment to our customers, the arts, and the local communities. You will provide outstanding customer service characterized by a genuine eagerness to assist and a wealth of product knowledge, ultimately contributing to the achievement of sales goals. Your key responsibilities will also encompass point-of-sale operations, maintaining cleanliness, merchandising, signage, pricing, loss prevention, and strict adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
– Exhibit an enthusiastic, energetic, and positive demeanor in all customer interactions.
– Deliver exceptional customer service by employing the Blick Selling Cycle consistently.
– Warmly and proactively greet customers, ensuring that artists of all abilities feel welcome in our stores.
– Identify customer needs through engaging, open-ended questions.
– Recommend products that meet customer needs and suggest additional items to enhance their projects.
– Inform customers about promotions and new product offerings.
– Act as an ambassador for Custom Services, educating customers on our framing, custom canvas, and printing services.
– Ensure a seamless checkout experience that leaves each customer feeling valued and informed about our Preferred Program.
– Go above and beyond to fulfill customers’ needs.
– Utilize our website to assist customers in ordering products when necessary.
– Complete various training programs, including Blick Onboarding Training, Blick Sales Training, Custom Services Training, and Outreach Opportunities.
– Assist with merchandise setups, demonstrating knowledge of visual standards and effectively implementing store guidelines as established by management.
– Follow instructions to balance tasks efficiently with customer interactions, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision while providing an exceptional experience.
– Understand and act upon the procedures required for reporting low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as needed.
