Your Role:
As a Retail Store Sales Associate, you will demonstrate exceptional teamwork, insatiable curiosity, and a strong commitment to excellence. In this role, you will support Blick’s dedication to our customers, the Arts, and our local communities by delivering outstanding customer service. You will engage with customers enthusiastically and share valuable product knowledge, directly contributing to the achievement of sales objectives. Your responsibilities will also encompass POS operations, maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, and strict adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:
– Exhibiting a positive, energetic demeanor in all customer interactions.
– Consistently providing extraordinary customer service by employing the Blick Selling Cycle.
– Proactively welcoming customers, ensuring that artists of all levels feel valued and at home in our stores.
– Assessing customer needs through open-ended, conversational questioning.
– Recommending products that fulfill customer requests and suggesting additional items to enhance their projects.
– Informing customers about current promotions and new product offerings.
– Acting as a representative for Custom Services, guiding customers on our framing, custom canvas, and printing services.
– Facilitating a seamless checkout experience that leaves customers feeling appreciated and informed about our Preferred Program.
– Going above and beyond to meet the needs of customers.
– Utilizing our website to assist customers in product orders as necessary.
– Completing required training programs, including Blick Onboarding, Sales Training, Custom Services Training, and Outreach Opportunities.
– Assisting with merchandise set-ups, demonstrating knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and maintaining store standards as established by management.
– Balancing customer interactions with assigned tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
– Acting on procedures to report low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as required.
