Job Summary
The Room Attendant/Housekeeper is primarily tasked with ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas within the hotel are maintained in a clean and appealing condition. This role involves servicing guest rooms daily in adherence to hotel procedures, restocking carts with room supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while following company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, this position may require the execution of deep cleaning activities within guest rooms, alongside preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
– Consistently engage with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
– Attend work regularly in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with scheduling flexibility based on the hotel’s requirements.
– Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag as per brand protocol.
– Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations at all times.
– Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
– Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
– Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
– Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
– May require dismantling furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
– Deep cleaning tasks may encompass changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging closed sliding doors.

Qualifications
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hotel or related fields.
