The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining hotel standards by ensuring that guest rooms are thoroughly serviced for future occupants. This position involves daily cleaning of rooms and laundering of linens to promote guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service guest rooms in 26 minutes or less, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Clean floors, walls, and all surfaces using designated chemicals and equipment.
  • Wash linens, make beds, and rearrange furniture on a daily basis.
  • Operate vacuums in all cleaned guest rooms.
  • Dust and clean all furniture and fixtures.
  • Record room status on the daily room attendant sheet.
  • Ensure the maintenance of guest supplies.
  • Empty and clean all garbage cans.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and cleaning products.
  • Report any items needing repair or replacement to the Head Housekeeper.
  • Clean and inspect public spaces daily.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of linens, terry, room supplies, and cleaning supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with front desk staff regarding the status of rooms.
  • Ensure that cleaning carts are tidy, organized, and restocked for the following day.
  • Complete laundry duties as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
