At Great Wolf, the role of Room Attendant (Housekeeper) is vital to ensuring our Lodge maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Housekeepers are responsible for a variety of general cleaning and maintenance tasks, which may include vacuuming, dusting, washing items, collecting trash, and proper sorting. Our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in allowing guests to relax and leave their daily responsibilities behind.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties for guest rooms and public areas, which include making beds, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios.
• Utilize cleaning chemicals responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines and familiarizing yourself with material safety data sheets.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and clean housekeeping cart with the necessary supplies.
• Report maintenance issues through the appropriate channels for prompt resolution.
• Document and secure lost and found items appropriately.
• Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Restock housekeeping cart at the end of your shift to ensure supplies are readily available.
• Assist the House Attendant by delivering guest requests and collecting used items.
• Conserve energy by adjusting window treatments and thermostat settings in unoccupied rooms.
• Report any hazardous conditions in the work area or equipment to a supervisor.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, including knowledge of sanitation, laundry operations, and guest services.
• Strong customer service abilities and effective oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with general cleaning or housekeeping practices.

Physical Requirements:
