What You Will Do
- Develop, implement, and oversee project safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with the Caddell Corporate Safety Program and accident/fire protection programs throughout the assigned project.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Manager to create safe work plans for all project phases and crew tasks.
- Conduct detailed daily safety inspections of all active work areas and maintain documentation of these inspections.
- Consult with field personnel regarding safety issues, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Lead initial safety orientation sessions for new employees.
- Monitor housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Act as the construction safety liaison with owners and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit all necessary safety-related reports.
- Conduct post-accident investigations and inquiries regarding property damage.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Corporate Safety Manager.
Working Conditions
This position operates within a construction environment, requiring travel and full-time availability. Applicants must possess the capability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for extended periods, and lift and carry objects weighing over 50 pounds. Candidates should be able to navigate confined spaces and/or extreme heights while performing tasks safely. Working conditions may vary, exposing individuals to hot, cold, humid, and wet environments depending on the project location.

What We Expect
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of relevant OSHA regulations are essential. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is also required.
