Job description:
As a Sales Associate at Claire’s, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional sales performance through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring that our customers enjoy a memorable shopping experience. You will demonstrate Claire’s products, assist customers with inquiries utilizing your product knowledge, and support various operational tasks such as processing deliveries, visual merchandising, conducting stock takes, and managing markdowns and promotions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide ear piercing services, for which you will receive comprehensive training. Maintaining an inviting and presentable store environment for our customers will also be a key part of your role.

We are looking for candidates who have completed some high school education, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate strong organizational abilities. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate sound mathematical comprehension and reading skills, as well as the physical ability to stand for extended periods, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 75 lbs. The role also involves bending, stooping, extended reaching, and climbing ladders to merchandise products and assist customers. Proficiency in operating a POS system is essential.
The compensation range for this position is $14.00 – $16.10, with final compensation determined by factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
