What will your responsibilities entail? – The Specifics

In this role, you will be responsible for the sale, fitting, and dispensing of eyewear to customers. Your specific duties will include:

– Meeting National Vision’s sales targets and company objectives.
– Upholding National Vision’s Code of Conduct to foster a professional and productive environment for all associates.
– Embodying National Vision’s Mission, Vision, and Values by promoting an inclusive and respectful atmosphere for both associates and customers.
– Assisting in the dispensing of eyeglasses and contact lenses, in accordance with state law.
– Conducting insertion and removal training for contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
– Educating clients on proper care for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
– Maintaining accurate and organized patient records.
– Communicating with customers regarding the status of their orders, including notifications of readiness or delays.
– Recommending suitable eyewear options based on customers’ lifestyles and prescriptions.
– Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls in alignment with National Vision protocols.
– Diligently ensuring cleanliness and safety of all equipment, workstations, and the overall facility on a daily basis.
– Adhering to inventory control and loss prevention procedures at all times.
– Maintaining visual merchandising in accordance with Brand and Company Standards.

– A minimum of 1 year of related experience or training in retail/customer service is preferred.
– Strong sales capabilities aimed at achieving both store and personal sales goals while adhering to company policies.
– Bilingual abilities are preferred in certain locations.

Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
