Fox Motors is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at Fox Ann Arbor Nissan in Ann Arbor, MI. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our overarching vision, “Working together moving people throughout life,” by fostering trust and building enduring relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Consultant serves a vital function in delivering outstanding purchasing experiences. You will engage with customers, offering expert consultations, utilizing dealership systems for follow-up, and providing exceptional customer service to cultivate lasting business relationships. We are looking for a Sales Consultant who is competitive, career-oriented, and possesses a drive for innovation within a professional and dynamic sales environment. No prior experience in automotive sales is required; candidates with backgrounds in bartending, personal training, or hospitality will find a rewarding career at Fox. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and assisting customers as they enter the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Staying informed on the latest product information to maintain a high level of vehicle knowledge.
  • Providing detailed specifications (performance, safety, benefits, etc.) about all vehicles to customers.
  • Conducting professional demonstrations of vehicle features with a focus on quality.
  • Utilizing dealership systems for thorough pre- and post-sale follow-up, aimed at developing and maintaining a client database.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of vehicle values, equity, finance products, and Fox programs.
  • Ensuring adherence to Fox processes during vehicle delivery.
  • Introducing customers to various points of interest and services offered by the dealership.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the showroom to ensure a strong selection of vehicles is available and the space remains presentable for customers.

  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles with a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • A team-oriented attitude complemented by a high-energy personality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Eagerness to quickly learn new products.
  • Valid driver’s license.
