Position Details:
– Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
– Pay: $22.50/hour, commensurate with experience
– Previous administrative experience is required.
Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support professional to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative support to our sales team, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding customer service. Position Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
– Address customer inquiries and deliver timely, professional responses through email, phone, or in-person communication.
– Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
– Support the organization of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
– Timely procurement and entry of purchase orders.
– Aid the sales team by following up on order confirmations and bookings.
– Maintain and update customer profiles within the system.
– Monitor remaining contract balances upon order entry.
– Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and regulatory policies (BRC/FDA).
– Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
– Associate degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
– 6 months to 1 year of administrative experience is required.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
– A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
– Prior experience supporting a sales team is highly regarded.
– Experience in foodservice, wholesale, retail, or convenience is strongly desired.
– Familiarity with Sales Force or similar CRM software is advantageous.
