We are actively seeking a full-time Security Officer to join the Allied Universal team. This position requires a valid driver’s license with a minimum of one year of driving experience, as well as some prior security experience. Candidates must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.50, weekly pay, benefits, and an option for DailyPay.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients across various sectors, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-focused approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or a minimum of five years of verifiable experience.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will evaluate qualified candidates with criminal histories in compliance with applicable legal standards.
  • A drug screening will be administered as a condition of employment, consistent with legal parameters.
  • Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled before employment.
