We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security Utility Officer with a starting salary of $23.72 per hour. The position is located at a major automotive manufacturer in Ypsilanti, MI. Candidates must have the flexibility to work any day and any shift, as well as successfully complete Level 2 training, which includes Confined Space Rescue, Incipient Fire Fighting, Hazardous Materials Training, and more. Fire and safety experience is preferred.

As a Professional Security Utility Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. You will be expected to understand and implement all site-specific policies and procedures, respond appropriately in emergency situations, and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills, along with interpersonal abilities to engage professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.

Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Driving Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, one accident in the last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months).
• Must meet minimum insurance requirements as defined by Company policy and be capable of safely operating a vehicle.
