We are currently seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Security Officer for our Wayne location. The position offers a competitive starting salary of $17.90 per hour, which will increase to $18.99 after 90 days. We provide flexible payment options, including DailyPay and WeeklyPay. Please note that a valid driver’s license, held for more than one year, is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients by executing safety and security protocols, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and periphery, adapting to varying environments and conditions as specified by the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; candidates for armed roles must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation as part of the employment process, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will evaluate qualified applicants with criminal histories in compliance with these laws.
  • Drug screening may be a requirement of employment, as permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.
